I am having a very tough time getting Fatalii peppers to sprout. Everything else has been sprouting great (Scotch Bonnet, 7 Pot Brain Strain, Death Spiral, Datil etc). I've emailed the seller of the seeds, and he was very kind enough to send me a big batch of fresh Fatalii seeds (have sowed a bunch now)
However the first batch of seeds- only one came up and literally 2 days after being started. It grew out of the soil (same soil I've used for everything else) a pale yellow with a white stem. Its looked that way since its pushed out of the soil. Is this the normal sprout color, or did I get a freak pepper? I dont think its a fertilizer or light issue being all the other peppers are great using the same.

Not sure about the sprout but one thing I’m sure of is that this Jukka Fatalii is one hell of a great person.
Looks a bit pale, yes. Sometimes they can colour up a bit after emerging in response to light, but if the seed was a bit raw, it can also cause issues with seedling chlorophyll formation.
