I recently purchased a pre-started Chiltepin plant and after repotting have notice several holes and browning on some leaves. After a closer inspection I believe these may be Aphids but am not sure, they are round and orange. They are only on a few leaves so I think I caught it early.
Can anyone confirm these are Aphids or, if not, what they are?
I've never dealt with Aphids and have heard that ladybugs are a recommended treatment, but anything more fasting acting that won't harm the plant would be appreciated.
The plant was originally started in California if that helps. I admittedly did not inspect the plant very closely when I received it and don't know if the plant came with the pests or were picked up locally (Texas).
Any help appreciated.
