About 6 months ago, I placed two seed orders for different chinense varieties — one from WhiteHotPeppers (4 varieties, fourth photo) and another from TexasHotPeppers (10 varieties, first photo).
I’m not from the United States, so I placed an international order through a shipping service. When I finally received them, I planted all the varieties from both White and Texas in germination trays under exactly the same conditions. The White seeds germinated in just 5 days with around a 90% germination rate. Meanwhile, the Texas seeds simply didn’t germinate.
I decided to wait a month and a half, hoping they were just old seeds that tend to take longer to sprout. After 2 months, only 1 out of the 40 Texas seeds I planted germinated, and the seedling came out deformed (second photo).
I decided to send an email about the issue, but I never received a response.
Has anyone had a similar experience?
