CHICKEN TORTILLA SOUP RECIPE ⬇️

CHICKEN TORTILLA SOUP RECIPE ⬇️

I’m using my homemade chili seasoning in this recipe. You can find it pinned on my profile.

An easy crockpot meal you can throw together quickly and fuel your family with whole nutrient dense foods…rather than some crap can of chunky soup sold to you by athletes.

And yes…I didn’t add tortillas. I went with rice instead. That’s how home cooking works…make minor changes and make it how you want. My family usually likes dipping with chips and eating it that way.

Let’s get to it!

INGREDIENTS:
4 cups tomato sauce
28 oz can crushed tomatoes
1 cup diced tomatoes
6 oz tomato paste
1 lime, juiced
1 orange, juiced
3 bell peppers
2 yellow onions
1 can black beans
2-3 tbsp chili seasoning
2 lbs chicken breasts
2-3 cups cheddar cheese
Rice, optional

DIRECTIONS:
1.) Prepare your vegetables. Add all ingredients together.

2.) Set to high setting on crock pot. Cover and let cook for 2-3 hours. If adding tortilla chips, you can add those in the last 20 minutes of cooking. Add in cheddar cheese and stir to combine.

3.) Serve and top with your favorite toppings; sour cream, hot sauce, cilantro, tortilla chips, more cheese, etc.

4.) Enjoy and share with friends!
