Chili Mac and Cheese
Ingredients
8 oz dry macaroni or penne pasta (1/2 package), cook according to package
1 lb ground beef
1/2 onion, diced
1 green bell pepper, diced
3 garlic cloves, minced
1 tablespoon chili powder
1 tablespoon cumin
28 oz can crushed tomatoes
1 cup chicken broth
2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
Directions
Heat oil in a pan over medium high heat and brown ground beef, about 4 minutes.
Add onions, bell peppers and garlic. Season with salt and pepper and cook for another 4 minutes.
Stir in chili powder and cumin.
Stir in canned crushed tomatoes and chicken broth. Season really well with salt and bring to a boil. Lower heat to medium low and let simmer uncovered for 10 minutes.
Stir in cooked pasta and 1 cup of cheese. Top with remaining 1 cup cheese. Either broil or cover and cook for 1-2 minutes, until cheese has melted.

I wouldnt call it mac n cheese but looks good
