  1. You just need a good microscope and an incredibly thin slice. Count the number rings which have fused cell-walls of the exterior cuticle (it will be obvious), compare it to the normal variety, and reduce cook times by a proportionate amount. You can try changing it by seconds and tens of seconds to biangulate how much to change it proportionately, or use basic spectroscopy samples of the two fleshy layers to work out the proportions of cellulose.
    And you can tell that's forbidden knowledge because google doesn't even recognise the concept of biangulation.
    We would be happy to consult for small amounts of free hot-sauce btw.
