Healthy Indian Chaat Recipes | Low Oil Evening Snacks | Ramadan 2026



Here are the ingredients for all 4 Low / No Oil Chaat Recipes in English:

1️⃣ Delhi Style White Matar Chaat
2 cups dried white peas (soaked overnight)
1 teaspoon salt (for boiling)
Water (about 1 inch above the peas)

Green chutney ( 1 cup coriander leaves+ ½ cup mint leaves+ 4-5 green chilli+ 1 inch ginger+ ½ lemon juice +½ tsp salt + some water= grind it

4 tbsp tamarind pulp ( 50 g tamarind soaked in ½ cup if water= Strain it

Spice Mix:
1 teaspoon red chili powder
1 teaspoon Kashmiri red chili powder
1 teaspoon coriander powder
1 teaspoon garam masala
1 teaspoon roasted cumin powder
1 teaspoon chaat masala
½ teaspoon black pepper powder
½ teaspoon black salt
Add-ins:
2–3 tablespoons green chutney
4–5 tablespoons tamarind pulp
½ cup chopped onion
½ cup chopped tomato
Julienned ginger
Chopped green chilies
Fresh coriander leaves
1–2 teaspoons lemon juice
(Optional tempering: 1 tablespoon oil/ghee + green chilies + ginger + onion)

2️⃣ Healthy Chana Chaat
1½–2 cups boiled chickpeas
½ teaspoon salt (for boiling)
Dressing:
1 tablespoon extra virgin olive oil
1 tablespoon lemon juice
½ teaspoon black salt
½ teaspoon red chili powder
1 teaspoon chaat masala
½ teaspoon black pepper
½ teaspoon roasted cumin powder
¼ teaspoon salt
Add-ins:
½ cup chopped onion
½ cup chopped tomato (seeds removed)
½ cup chopped cucumber
½ cup boiled potato (optional)
½ cup paneer cubes (optional)
Fresh coriander & mint leaves
1–2 tablespoons green chutney
1–2 tablespoons sweet tamarind chutney

3️⃣ Oil-Free Aloo Chaat (Tamarind Style)
½ kg boiled potatoes (sliced)
Dry Roast Masala:
1½ teaspoons whole coriander seeds
1 teaspoon cumin seeds
½ teaspoon black pepper
2–3 dried red chilies
Other Ingredients:
4–5 tablespoons tamarind pulp
1 teaspoon red chili powder
¾ teaspoon salt
¼ teaspoon black salt
1 teaspoon chaat masala
2 sliced tomatoes
Fresh coriander leaves
Lemon juice (optional)

4️⃣ Quick Dahi Aloo Chaat (Low Oil)
3 boiled potatoes (300–350g, cubed)
Spice Mix:
½ teaspoon salt
½ teaspoon black salt
½ teaspoon chaat masala
½ teaspoon red chili powder
½ teaspoon roasted cumin powder
Dahi Layer:
1 cup thick yogurt
1 tablespoon sugar (optional)
Toppings:
Sweet tamarind chutney
Green chutney
Nylon sev (optional)
Papdi (optional)
Extra spice for sprinkling
