Crockpot Mexican Street Corn | easy slow cooker recipe 🌽⭐️



Street corn in the crockpot

Recipe:

5-7 chicken tenderloin
2 cans drained corn
1 tbsp garlic salt and chili powder
1/2 tsp cumin
Pinch of salt
1 block cream cheese
(You can adjust to your taste 😉)

Put chicken in bottom of crockpot. Add corn then spices, give a little mix. Put cream cheese on top.

Cover and cook HIGH for 4 hours, LOW for 5-6 hours.

Shred chicken, mix and enjoy.

  1. Nothing about that dish is Mexican street corn.I understand why so many people call somebody different dishes.Mexican street corned Mexican street.Corn is corn in the cob , mayonnaise , lime cheese , cotija or caso fresco and some people put chili on it , no one in our family does

  2. 1. That is not Mexican street corn. The only ingredient you have right is the corn. Ingredients are corn, mayo, lime, cotija cheese and whatever hot sauce you like. Why don’t you just rename it?
    2. Those are called tortillas not tacos. 😂

You can also put your chicken in put a block of cream cheese in half a cup of salsa and a whole pack of taco seasoning so make sure you got quite a bit of chicken let that cook like your instructions more for the crock pot hours and then you've got that to put on your tortillas and also you can add lettuce tomato and onion and sour cream right before you eat them

  5. I thought she was straight up about to make elotes then heard the accent & was like WTF? BTW- I live in Phoenix and i can tell you that whatever she made absolutsly is NOT mexican street corn 😂😖😖🤡💩 where'd you learn to make Mexican corn, Canada? 😅

  6. What’s with the cream cheese? Comes back 4 hours later and chicken shreds but cream cheese is still in a brick. I don’t get any of this recipe. I thought it was about corn ? I assumed it would be ears of corn and spiced up then grilled. That’s Mexican street corn. And the feta ? Where the heck does that fit in. To each his own I’m grateful I’m vegan. 😂
