✨ Hailey’s 5 Minute Chili Oil Zoodles
Ingredients:
• 2 medium zucchini (spiralized into zoodles)
• 0.5 tbsp chili flakes
• 0.5 tbsp chili powder
• ½ tbsp sesame seeds
• 1 tsp sugar
• ½ tsp chicken powder
• 2–3 cloves garlic, minced (about 1 tbsp)
• 1 tbsp chopped scallions
• 0.5 tbsp Chinese black vinegar
• 1 tbsp soy sauce
To finish:
• 3–4 tbsp hot neutral oil (avocado, peanut, or vegetable oil)

Instructions:
1. Spiralize the zucchini into zoodles. Microwave for 45 seconds, then set aside.
2. In a heatproof bowl, add chili flakes, chili powder, sesame seeds, sugar, chicken powder, garlic, scallions, soy sauce, and Chinese black vinegar.
3. Heat 3–4 tbsp neutral oil in a small pan until just starting to smoke.
4. Carefully pour the hot oil over the spice mixture — aim for the chili powder, garlic, sesame seeds, and scallions for that sizzling aroma.
5. Gently squeeze the zucchini to remove excess water, then add the zoodles to the bowl and toss everything well until evenly coated.
6. Garnish with green onions and sesame seeds.
Serve immediately and enjoy 💗
Tip:
– If you want a stronger flavor, add a little extra soy sauce or a drizzle of chili oil.
– You can cook the zucchini in a pan for about 1 minute, or microwave it for 45 seconds to 1 minute, depending on the size. Avoid overcooking for the best texture.
– If you prefer a milder version, use half the amount of chili flakes and chili powder.
