  1. I don't eat eggs because biologically, an egg is a chicken's menstruation cycle… it's the result of a hen's regular ovulation process.
    ​Key Similarities
    ​Ovulation: Like the human menstrual cycle, a hen releases an egg from her ovary on a consistent schedule (usually every 24 to 26 hours).
    ​Unfertilized: If no mating occurs, the egg is simply a reproductive discharge that contains no embryo.
    ​Hormonal Drive: Both processes are controlled by specific hormone shifts triggered by light and maturity.
    ​The primary difference is that chickens "lay" the egg externally rather than reabsorbing or shedding the uterine lining internally.
