Motte Bellulli Kara (Egg Garlic Spicy Fry)
Ingredients:
4–5 boiled eggs
3 whole garlic bulbs (peeled)
1 big onion (chopped)
2 strands curry leaves
1 tsp jeera (cumin seeds)
4 tbsp chilli powder
½ tsp turmeric powder
Salt as per taste
Oil as needed
Fresh coriander (kothmeri) for garnish
Preparation:
In a mixer jar add garlic, jeera, chilli powder, turmeric powder, and salt.
Grind it into a coarse paste (add little water if needed).
Heat oil in a pan and add curry leaves.
Add chopped onion and sauté until soft.
Add the ground garlic masala paste and cook for a few minutes until the raw smell disappears.
Add the boiled eggs and gently mix so the masala coats the eggs well.
Cook for another 2–3 minutes.
Finally garnish with fresh coriander (kothmeri) and serve hot.
