i started late last year and still had peppers all thru summer and christmas

one year i took a plant out of the garden cause i liked the output, potted it, kept it, and planted it again next year and it did ok. certainly fruited early. consider a late planting a taste test for next years favorite pepper (if you save it in a pot)
