Serves: 8–10 sliders

Ingredients

Bear Mountain Gourmet Blend BBQ Pellets

1 beef sausage horseshoe

1 pack Hawaiian slider rolls

1 can hot dog chili sauce

1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

¼ cup pickled jalapeño slices

1 TBSP yellow mustard

1 TBSP BBQ dry rub

Optional toppings or swaps

Diced onion

Coleslaw

Steps

1. Preheat your grill or smoker to 325°F using Bear Mountain Gourmet Blend Pellets.
2. Score the beef sausage in a checkerboard pattern, brush with yellow mustard, and season evenly with BBQ dry rub.
3. Cut a V shape into the tops of the slider rolls and arrange them in the shape of the sausage.
4. Smoke the sausage for 35–45 minutes, then transfer it onto the prepared rolls and top with hot dog chili sauce, shredded cheddar, and pickled jalapeños.
5. Return to the smoker for about 15 minutes until the cheese is melted and bubbly. Slice into individual sliders and serve hot.
