

Hello fellow pepper enthusiasts,
I would like to know what the dark spots on the seeds mean.
For context: I used the paper towel method. These seeds were wrapped in moist paper towel, then placed in an plastic sandwich bag three days ago and kept on room temperature (around 19 – 21 degrees Celsius or 66 – 70 degrees Fahrenheit). I was about to transfer the seeds in potting soil when I noticed the spots.
Any idea or explanation is appreciated.
