Getting my barrels and planters ready for the season. As I was removing the coco coir mulch I saw these spheres between the mulch and soil layer. Both the small clump of clear spheres and the small brown ones that were more wide spread. Better pic of the brown spheres [here](https://i.imgur.com/NruEONT.jpeg). I don’t remember seeing anything like this prior, and have not seen them in other planters. If it helps, I’m in the Seattle area.
