This year I decided to step things up and use 10 grow bags (10 gallons each, still missing 4). When I first transplanted, I left about 5 to 8 cm of empty space at the top. But since my substrate is pretty light, with regular watering it has compacted a bit and the grow bag has slightly stretched, so now I have around 12 to 15 cm of empty space.
I am not sure if I should just leave it like that or fill it up. I also do not know how well Capsicum chinense can produce adventitious roots.
P.S. The plants in the back had a whitefly infestation, but I already dealt with it, hopefully they will not look so wrinkled in the next few weeks lol

Do you add dry amendments thought the season? If yes, leave some space for that otherwise fill er up to the brim.
