What is the Taco Bell target demographic?

I went to Taco Bell for the first time in years today.

My beef chalupa combo is now gone off the menu, but I see the chicken one, so I figure out how to swap it on their kiosks. Then I decide I want a Doritos locos taco instead of the plain one my combo comes with. Sure there’a an upcharge. Non-issue.

$16.15 – in a low cost of living area in flyover country that still has an absurdly low minimum wage.

I can literally go across the street to McDonald’s, get a double quarter pounder combo and be out the door, tax and all for $12.50 (which is already too high). I can go to chipotle and get a steak bowl and a drink for $13-$14 and change.

But Taco Bell, arguably the poorest quality of the 3? I just don’t get who their target demographic is now.

Use the app and buy combo boxes. If you are buying entrees like this (like most of the general population) you’re gonna pay up.

It hurts my soul when people order the worst value:money items at taco bell and say it’s expensive.

Get yourself 2 cheesy double beef burritos next time. They’re 2.99 each and are very customizable. Those will fill you up more than the biggest meal at McDonald’s, guaranteed.

  4. You need to get the $5, $7, and $9 combo boxes to actually get a good deal. The combos are the only way to get the most out of your money. Buying stuff by itself at any restaurant is stupid. You would get the same result from McDonald’s, Wendy’s, and ect.

Said the same thing the other night. You just have to get the 5-6$ boxes and $3 items to save. The combos are crazy expensive for what yiu get now
