I’ve been growing my first pepper seeds in a hydroponic system and ordered 3 varieties to start off with. I planted the Basket of Fire and Prairie Fire seeds which I expected to only grow until about 30-40cm.
The prairie fire seeds didn’t properly germinate but the basket of fire survived and now after about 90 days has grown up until 75~ cm.
As these plants usually only grow up until about 40cm I wanted to see if there’s any way to tell if this is not really a Basket of Fire. And for the future, should I prune or change something with my nutrient plan to get the plant more bushy?
I’m using Letpot’s own nutrition solution, currently at about 50% strength.
