My aunt does this too but in paper Dixie cups like you’d get at the dentist office to rinse. It works fine for her. You just gotta pick the best ones to transplant.

I was taught to do something similar and to kill off most of them as the healthiest siblings outcompete the others.
I just do 4 on 4 seed battle royales now instead of full thunderdomes like these. Saves seeds, might try this again for breeding tho
