Got this bad boy for $6 a few weeks ago, at a garden center. Wasn't doing too hot there, some leaves were dark, dirty, and it was in a tiny pot.
I literally took out my dish soap and hand washed every leaf to get the grime and pests out, then treated it with deltametrin and difenoconazole. Seems to be doing well and the pests haven't returned.
Already made two sauces with it, which were lovely. The climate down here is usually warm so I'm feeling good about growth, though we are entering fall.
