This is my first year growing hot peppers of any kind. Zone 6b, a mix of Ghost, Thai, and Calabrian between 45-60 days old, and this is the first weekend I’ve had them outside.
I’m rural with lots of disruptive critters (and a big goofy dog that tends to topple pots) so I’ve always used my screened porch to harden off my other seedlings. It’s west facing with direct light in the late afternoon.
My questions: will the porch be sufficient for hot peppers or will they require direct more sunlight during this process? Also, how many hours per day should I keep them out and can all 3 varieties be on the same schedule?
