Hello Chefs,
Chili Paneer is a starter dish which is desired by many of us. It can either be spicy or slightly tangy. Which ever way it is served it tastes amazing!!
Ingredients:
FOR PANEER COATING:
250g paneer
1/2tsp salt
1tsp black pepper
1tbsp ginger- garlic paste
1/2cup maida (all purpose flour)
1/4cup cornflour (cornstarch)
Oil for frying
For gravy:
2 diced onions
2 diced capsicums
1tsp Garlic
OPTIONAL: you can add some ginger too
1tbsp green chili sauce
1tbsp red chili sauce
2tbsp soya sauce
1/2tsp black pepper
1tsp salt
1/2 cup water
1tsp vinegar
1tbsp cornflour (cornstarch)
Tips:
1) If you want to add a spicy taste to your dish add a larger quantity of green chili and red chili.
2) If you want to add a sweeter taste to your dish add 2tbsp ketchup.
3) While you are cooking(saute) the vegetables, make sure that the flame is high. Otherwise the vegetables will leave water.
