Turkey Mac Chili Soup, Bariatric Friendly Recipe High Protein

This healthy soup is great for life after weight loss surgery. We chose turkey, but you can use any meat that you like or that works well with you. For the macaroni noodles, we found Chia Elbows from Seeds of Wellness. Made with chia, they are gluten free AND high in protein. This will be a staple in our kitchen from now on!
We can’t say enough about this how quick, easy and delicious this recipe is. There is even an easy way to make it more like a chili, just cut down on the amount of stock you add. Did we mention that it stores great. So, if you are cooking for 1, you can make enough for a few servings and then freeze the rest. Take them to your work fridge and just drop them in the freezer, it’s a great option when your hectic morning schedule gets in the way of planning your healthy lunch.
