Ingredients:

250 g Okra / Ladyfinger (wash throughly and pat dry, discard the edges and cut in to 1 to 1 1/2 inch)
1/4 tsp Salt
1/2 tsp Kashmiri chili powder OR 1/4 tsp chili powder
1/2 tbsp Gram flour / Besan
2 to 3 tbsp Oil

For Making Masala:
3 to 4 tbsp Oil
1 tsp Cumin / Jeera
1 no Onion, medium size , finely chopped
A pinch of Hing / Asafoetida (optional)
1 to 2 nos Green chili, chopped
1 tsp Ginger Garlic paste
1 tsp Kashmiri chili powder OR 1/2 tsp chili powder
1/4 tsp Turmeric powder
1 1/2 tsp Coriander powder
2 nos Tomato puree, medium size
1/2 cup Yogurt / curd
Water
1/2 tsp Salt (as required)
1/4 tsp Garam masala powder
1 to 2 tbsp Coriander leaves
