Chili Chicken is an Indo-Chinese food that is much popular in the Indian subcontinent. This recipe is very easy to make and delicious in taste. It can be served as a starter or as a side dish along with main dish like fried rice, naan, kulcha or hakka noodles. Try this easy recipe in simple way and enjoy with your family.

Ingredients: –
For marination:
Boneless chicken 300 grams
Egg 1
Soya sauce 1 tbsp
Vinegar 1 tbsp
Corn flour 3 tbsp
Maida 2 tbsp
Salt to taste
Red chili powder ½ tsp
Pepper powder ½ tsp
Water ½ cup
Refined oil for deep frying
For sauce:
Refined oil 2 tsp
Onion 1 small thickly diced
Capsicum 1 small thickly diced
Ginger 1 tbsp finely chopped
Garlic 1 tbsp finely chopped
Green chili 4 (cut into halves)
Red chili powder 1 tsp
Pepper powder ½ tsp
Tomato ketchup 2 tbsp
Soya sauce 1 tbsp
Vinegar 1 tbsp
3 tbsp corn flour mixed with 1 cup water
Preparation:-
Step 1
In a large bowl, add corn flour, Maida, red chili powder, black pepper powder, salt, ginger-garlic paste, egg and mix well. Now add little water and mix well again. Then make a thick batter. Now add chicken pieces and mix well with the batter. Then add vinegar, soy sauce and mix well again. Now cover the bowl and keep aside for 2hrs.
Step 2
Then heat oil in a deep-frying pan and fry all the marinated chicken pieces until it turns golden on the both sides. Keep it aside.
Step 3
Now heat 2 tbsp oil in a deep pan. Then add chopped garlic, ginger and fry on medium heat for 15 sec. Now add diced onion, capsicum and sliced green chilies. Fry on low heat for 30 sec. Then add tomato ketchup, soya sauce, vinegar and mix well. Now add pepper powder and mix well. Then add fried chicken pieces and fry for 1 min. Now add cornflour water mixture and continue to fry on low heat for 1 min. Then add pepper powder and mix well. Now add corn flour-water mixture and mix well. Fry for 2 min.
Now Chili Chicken is ready and serve hot with any main dish of your choice. Enjoy!
