The promised vegan 3 Bean Chili recipe

So finally here’s the recipe for you guys – sorry for the length of this video, we are just getting to grips with the whole YouTube channel thing 🙂

Vegan 3 Bean Chili:

3 cups of any of your favorite dry beans (I would recommend using darker varieties so that it looks more like a usual chili).

Soak the beans with a pinch of salt for at least 12 hrs, or even better for 24 hrs, then rinse, add a chopped white onion and cook them in a slow cooker with 1 liter of water for 6 hours on low or if you have a pressure cooker, 20 minutes would be enough.

Other ingredients:

1 red sweet pepper
1 box (200-300g) mushrooms
2 sticks of celery
2 medium onions
2 garlic cloves
1/4 – 1/2 tsp chili powder or flakes
1 vegetable stock cube or 1 Tbsp of home made vegetable stock paste.

Please remember to stir while frying your ingredients, the thermomix does this automatically.
