Chelsea’s Favorite Chili
1lb ground turkey or beef
1lb pork sausage
1 tsp dried oregano
Large yellow onion, chopped
Mixture of 5 cans of beans
(I like chili beans, kidney beans & black beans the best)
2 28oz cans crushed tomatoes
2 Tbsp chili powder (more or less to taste)
2 Tbsp cumin
2 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp paprika
1 Tbsp cocoa powder
1/2 tsp cinnamon
1 tsp salt
2 Tbsp masa
Brown meats with oregano, a dash of salt & pepper. Add to crockpot.
Add tomatoes, beans, seasonings and masa.
Cook on low for 6-8 hours or high for 4.
**I have made this recipe super bare bones in the video, leaving out the pork sausage, paprika & masa. This chili is great with minimal ingredients but for the best flavor I encourage you to try it the written way.
