Work has taken over!!! Both Peter and Sarah have some serious deadlines approaching, which means we will be staying home tonight to work. Sarah starts out the vlog preparing chili for dinner. It’s a new recipe she’s just making up as she goes. Let us know if you make it at home! When Peter gets home we do a little mochi taste test and get to work! Peter’s work is having a chili cook off, so we make another batch of chili for that! The recipe is below. We spend the rest of the night doing work and getting excited for Disney+. What will you watch first?

Chili Recipe:
Ingredients:
1 medium onion
1 tbsp minced garlic
2 tbsp olive oil
Shake of salt and pepper
1 lb. meat or meat alternative (I used riced cauliflower)
Two cans chili beans in sauce (+ any additional beans you’d like)
2 tbsp chili powder
15 oz. diced tomatoes
1 tbsp oregano
1/2 tbsp red pepper flakes
1 medium can tomatoĀ sauce
3 little cans of tomato juice
Spices used above to taste
Saute onions, minced garlic, salt, and pepper in olive oil over medium heat. Brown meat or meat alternative until the juices start to choice. Add beans and chili powder. Stir. Once bubbling, add diced tomatoes, oregano, and red pepper flakes. Stir. Once bubbling, add tomato sauce (add garlic and/ or chili powder to taste). Stir. Once bubbling add tomato juice. Stir. Move to low heat and let simmer for 2-3 hours without a lid.Ā
