Carne Asada Chili is possibly the perfect food for a cold winter’s day. So, here at Kitchen Instruments, I thought it would be the perfect time to share my recipe for it with you! This dish is so delicious… Think of it like taking your standard Chili Con Carne and giving it a booster shot of flavor! (DISCLAIMER: Yes I know, Carne Asada means grilled meat and I Roasted it instead. Roast Beef is technically considered Carne Asada by definition. So, to the people who are upset by my use of Carne Asada, I offer this as a solution… Shut up and try a bowl of this delicious Chili… It’ll change your life.) 1 Chicken Bouillon Cube 1 Tablespoon Salt 1/2 Teaspoon Pepper 1 Tablespoon Onion Powder 1 Tablespoon Garlic Powder 3 Tablespoons Chili Powder 2 Tablespoons Cocoa Powder 1/2 Tablespoon Cumin 1 Tablespoon Dried Oregano 3 Tablespoons
1-2 Tablespoons Hot Pepper Flakes Olive OIl (for Wet Rub)
Chili:
2 Lbs Spicy Ground Sausage 2 Tablespoons Butter 1 Onion (Diced) 2 Peppers (Diced) 2 Tablespoons Garlic (Minced) 2 Tablespoons Tomato Paste 1 Cup Tomatoes (Diced) 4 Cups Tomato Sauce 4 Cups Water 2-3 Tablespoons Chili Seasoning 1 Tablespoon Salt (Adjust to taste) 1 Cup Pinto Beans (Cooked) 1 Cup Black Beans (Cooked) 1 Cup Red Kidney Beans (Cooked)
