How to make Natural slow cooker (crock pot) chili. Made EASY without canned goods

I walk you through a basic step by step tutorial on how to make chili in a crock pot (slow cooker). I use bagged, raw beans, tomato sauce, 1- 2 lbs of beef, seasonings: marjoram, cayenne, natures seasoning, salt, pepper, paprika, garlic powder, chopped onion, and other seasonings. I recommend you use the ones you like. I also incorporate McCormick’s chili seasoning powder. Chili is a fun item you can make any way you’d like. I include tomatoes, red pepper, habanero, onion and celery into my recipe. You should add your favorite saucy vegetables as well.
I top off my chili with cheese, sour cream and chives

Ingredients:
Ground beef 1-2 lbs
yellow onion
beans of your choice (kidney, pinto and red beans)
Raw tomatoes
red pepper
habanero (optional)
celery
Spices (paprika, natures seasoning, (if you prefer a sweet chili use sugar), natures seasoning, garlic powder, salt, pepper, marjoram, and McCormick’s chili seasoning powder,
Your choice of tomato sauce

I like to make a lot of chili to put up for the whole week and eat with my meals. However, if you want less chili simply use one bag of beans equivalent (half and half). I use two bags in the video.

I take the beans rinse them off and set them in water over night.
This helps the beans to become soft.

After I wake up I take the beans that have been soaking and rinse them off again and place them in the slow cooker filled with water to boil some more. I set the cooker/crock pot on high for 4 hours and then go off to do my thing, they don’t need watching, but will need perhaps stirring at some point, because you’ll have added onion, and seasonings to the beans and you’ll want to stir the seasonings in.

After the beans have cooked, you will then need to strain the water from the beans and then put them back into the slow cooker.

Set the beans aside.
Now its time to prepare your meat and sauce.

Take a deep frying pan. I use a large one, because I’m making a lot of chili, if you are making less, it won’t need to be as large.

Fry your meat, also adding seasonings and chopped onion to your meat as well.
After your meat browns, you will need to add your pepper, celery, and tomato. Use as much or as little as you like.

Add in your chosen tomato sauce (you can also add tomato paste to thicken the chili as well). I don’t use tomato paste, because I can’t have canned goods. This is also why I don’t use canned tomatoes. BPA is a cancer causing agent in canned goods and I have already had surgery because of this.

I add the meat and sauce to the crock pot after its had about ten minutes to cook together with the vegetables.

I then let chili slow cook for 1 – 2 more hours, (depending upon how patient I am. )

I add sour cream, cheese and chives for more flavor when I eat.

Note: you can find can free tomato paste at fresh thyme.
