Week 2 Day 6 – Late night, walking, bread recipe, and chili

How it’s going, walking with Malek, my bread recipe, and chili in a pinch

Bread Recipe
1 cup warm water
2 tsp instant dry active yeast
2 tsp sugar

-Mix together, set aside

1 cup boiled hot water
2 tsp sugar
1 tsp salt
1/2 cup oil

-Mix together, put into yeast mixture

1 egg

-whisk into water mixture, start adding flour by half cup until dough makes a pliable ball, first whisking, then mixing, then kneading by hand (about 5-6 cups flour)
-you should be able to pick the ball up and it will be tacky but not sticky
-lighly oil bottom of bowl, toss dough ball once in bowl
-leave on warming stove for 1 hour

-lightly flour surface and knead into dough ball, and it is now set to use for buns, roll into pizza dough, or roll out for cinnamon buns

Bake @ 350 for 20-25 minutes, remove when golden brown
