Making Vegetarian Chili // At Home Vlog

Smoothie Recipe:
Ingredient List:
– 1/4th a Bell Pepper (Any Colors)
– 1 Medium Carrott (I scrap the bitter skin off)
– 1/4th of a Beet
– 1 Cup of Kale (Green or Red)
– Parsley (Handful)
– Cilantro (Handful)
– 1 Green Onion
– Half a lemon (Juiced)
– 1 Rib of Celery
– Frozen Berries (instead of ice cubes)
– 1/4 tsp of ground Tumeric
– 1/4 tsp of Black pepper
– 1 cup of Low Sodium V8 Juice

Instructions:
– Pretty simple, I put everything into a blender or blender cup (as I did in this video) and just blend it up for a few minutes. This is the base recipe I follow each time but I do change it depending on what I have on hand and what I want out of my smoothie that day.

You could portion this out into gallon zip lock bags 1 time each week and just simply dump it all into the blender each day, it would save you some time.

Vegetarian Chili Recipe:
Ingredient List:
– 2 Cups of Veggie Broth (or Water)
– 1 red onion, chopped
– 1 bell pepper (any color), seeded and chopped
– 2 garlic cloves, minced
– 1-3 Hot peppers, seeded and minced
– 2-3 cups of mushrooms, I prefer Baby Bella or Shiitake
– 2+ tablespoons of chili powder (I also like to use red pepper flakes)
– 1 Can of ‘No Salt Added’ diced tomatoes
– 1/4 cup of tomato paste
– 1/2 cup of Red Lentils
– 3 cans of ‘No Salt Added’ beans, I like to use 3 different types of beans.
– 1/2 tsp of smoked paprika, black pepper, turmeric
– 1 tbsp of Cumin
– 1/2 tbsp of Coriander

Instructions:
– Added the red onion, bell pepper, garlic, peppers, and mushrooms into a skillet to sautee for 5-7 minutes just to soften them up a bit.
– Add everything else into the crockpot, then when the food in the skillet is done, add that too. Include the spices as well.
– Cook on High for 4 hours or Low for 6-8

Like above, this is the base recipe I follow but I change it depending on what I have and what I’m in the mood for. Don’t be afraid to adjust the recipe to fit your needs and make adjustments to improve it!

This is my average day at home and work. I typically cook dinner before my girlfriend gets home. I try to do some self-care items throughout the day for myself which I’ll show-case a little more in future videos.

This video was shot with a Canon M50 that I got recently instead of using my smartphone. Quite an improvement and I’ll move to 4k footage moving forward.
