Ingredients for Citron Juice Rice

Narthangai – 1
Gingely Oil – for seasoning
Mustard – for seasoning
Bengal Gram,
Urad dal
Ground Nut
Curry leaves – for seasoning
Red chili – 2 to 3
Green chili – 2 to 3
Asafoetida – optional
Turmeric powder
Salt – as required.

Cooking method – Citron Juice Rice

After seasoning switch off the stove.
Add salt and mix.
Mix the cooked rice which was let to cool.
Pour the wild citron juice.
Stir well.

Carrot Stir Fry – Poriyal

Mustard
Urad Dal
Perumjeeraham (Sombu/Fennel Seeds) – Optional
Turmeric Powder
Salt

Cooking method for carrot stir fry – Poriyal

Take perumjeeraham/Sombu and dry fry.
Powder the sombu in a mixie
Cut the carrot into small pieces
Cook the carrot in a pan.
Add turmeric powder and salt
Once the carrot is cooked add chili and sombu powder
Keep stirring.
