Michelle chili recipe
My chili generally follows this recipe but I always have variations that happen.
1 lb ground sausage
4 cans tomatoes
1 can beans
1 large onion, diced
1 bell pepper or whatever peppers you have
1 jalapeno
2 tbsp garlic
seasonings- use what you like
Brown sausage. Add diced onion and peppers. cook a couple minutes. Add tomatoes, beans and seasonings. Bring to a boil and then turn heat to low and let simmer for an hour.
Other things that make chili taste good:
Add cooked pasta at the end.
Add 1/4 cup brown sugar with seasoning.
Add 1/2 cup bbq sauce with seasonings.
Serve with sour cream or shredded cheese.
