Chili Garlic Chestnuts – Chinese Recipes #13 | SG World of Cooking

Ingredients:
Water Chestnuts, peeled – 1 cup
Oil – 1 tbsp
Garlic, minced – 1 tbsp
Ginger, minced – 1 tsp
Green Chili, finely chopped – 1
Spring Onions, chopped – 2
Red Onion, diced – 1/4 cup
Salt – 1/2 tsp
Mixed Bell Peppers, diced – 1 cup
Black Pepper – 1/2 tsp
Soya Sauce – 1 tsp
Schezwan Sauce – 1 tsp
Tomato Ketchup – 1 tsp

Instructions:
1. Add oil to a pan and add garlic, ginger & green chili. Saute for 30 seconds.
2. Add spring onion bulbs and saute for 30 seconds.
3. Add red onions and saute for 30-40 seconds.
4. Add chestnuts and saute for 2-3 minutes. Add salt and saute for a minute.
5. Add bell peppers and saute for 2-3 minutes.
6. Add black pepper and sauces and saute for a minute.
7. Add spring onion greens and serve hot.
