Ingredients
1 lb turkey
15 oz black beans, drained
15 oz kidney beans, drained
28 oz crushed tomatoes
8 oz tomato paste
1 onion
3 clove garlic
3 teaspoons kosher salt
2 teaspoon black pepper
1 tablespoon cumin
1 tablespoon oregano
1 tablespoon smoked paprika
1-3 teaspoon cayenne (Depending on spice tolerance)
1 tablespoon chili powder
2 teaspoon smoked paprika
1 teaspoon nutmeg
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1 teaspoon coffee
2 bell peppers
1/4 cup almond meal
1 egg
a dash of baking soda
2 Tbsp honey
Instructions
1. Combine all ingredients for chili into crockpot or stovetop and cook for at least 2 hours.
2. Prep peppers by scooping out the insides, placing on a baking dish and putting into an oven at 350F for 5-8 minutes.
3. Combine almond flour, egg, honey and baking soda and mix until smooth.
4. Remove peppers from oven and spoon in chili into each pepper being careful not to overfill. Top off with almond bread mixture and return to oven for 20-25 minutes.
5. Plate, serve and enjoy!
