INGRIDIENTS
500 grams medium sized prawns marinated for 30 mins with crushed pepper and garlic
8-10 tablespoon of sunflower oil
1 onion cut in diced pieces
Basil leaves 8-10
Chopped garlic (5-6 cloves)
4-5 slit green chilies
2 tsp dark soya sauce
4-5 tsp of sweet-chili sauce
Handful of chopped spring onion
METHOD
Step 1 In a pan heat 4-5 tsp of oil and fry the marinated prawns
Step 2 Prawns don’t take much time to fry so try them for about 3 to 4 minutes still return pinkish orange. Keep the fried prawns aside
Step 3 In the same oil add a little bit more oil and throwing your chopped garlic, onions and chilies
Step 4 Once the onions have turns translucent and the basil leaves and the dark soya sauce and sweet chili sauce. Give it a good mix
Step 5 Cook the sauce for 5 mins and add the fried prawns
Step 6 Add about half cup water and cook for 3-4 mins
Step 7 Add 1/2 tsp corn flour stirred in Luke warm water and cook for a minute
Step 8 Add chopped spring onions and some more basil and your dish is ready to serve
