Ingredients:
Potatoes 1 kg
Semolina 1/2 cup
Salt to taste
Chili powder 1/2 tsp
Flour 2 tbsp
Corn flour 2 tbsp
Garlic 2 tbsp
Butter 1 tbsp
Water 1 cup
Coriander leaves 2 tbsp
Oil 1 tbsp
Red chili flakes 1 tsp
Ingredients for masala:
Oregano 1/2 tsp
Garlic powder 1/2 tbsp
Red chili powder 2 tbsp
Paprika powder 1 tsp
Onion powder 1 tbsp
Salt to taste
Ingredients for cheese sauce:
Mozzarella cheese 1 cup
Cheddar cheese 1/2 cup
Milk 1/4 cup
Mayonnaise 2 tbsp
Paprika 1/4 tsp
Salt to taste
Chili sauce 2 tbsp
Directions:
Firstly, take blender again, add semolina and blend until smooth. Keep it aside.
Now melt butter in a pan, add garlic and sauté it for a minute. Add water, semolina and mix it well on medium flame. Season it with salt, red chili powder, chili flakes and cook for 2 to 3 minutes more or until water dries out. Set aside to cool down.
In a pot of simmering water add potatoes and boil until fully done. Keep aside.
In a bowl add boiled potatoes and mash them well. Add prepared semolina mixture, corn flour, coriander leaves, flour, oil and mix it well.
Shift this mixture on dough mat and knead it into a dough. Flatten the potato dough on mat and with help of a round cutter cut rings.
Handle carefully and deep fry them until golden brown in color. Set aside.
For masala in a blender add oregano, garlic powder, red chili powder, paprika, onion powder, salt and blend until you get a fine powder. Your masala is ready set aside.
For cheese sauce take a pan, add milk, mozzarella cheese, cheddar cheese, mayo, paprika, salt and chili sauce in it. Cook until you reach your desired thickness on medium low flame.
Dish out these potato ring in your serving plate, sprinkle masala on top or drizzle cheese sauce.
Your tasty cheesy potato rings are ready to serve.
