Family Favorite Turkey Chili | Delicious | Healthy | Easy to make

Hi everyone!

Today I will be showing you all how I make chili! I love chili, it’s one of those dishes that never gets old but just keeps getting better and better.

INGREDIENTS
2 tbsp Olive Oil
1 medium Yellow Onion, chopped
2-3 cloves Garlic, minced
2 ribs Celery, chopped
1 lb Ground Turkey
2 Bell Peppers, chopped
1 – 19 fl oz can of Black Beans rinsed, drained
1 – 19 fl oz can of Kidney Beans rinsed, drained
1 cup Frozen Corn, kernels
28 fl oz can Diced Tomato
1 cup Chicken Broth or Stock
3 tbsp Chili Powder
1 tsp Ground Cumin
1 ½ tsp Oregano, dried
¼ tsp Chili Flakes, dried

INSTRUCTIONS
1) In a large dutch oven over medium heat, heat oil until hot. Add turkey and break into small pieces. Cook for 8-10 minutes or until cooked through.

2) Add onions and celery and cook for 3 minutes or until softened.

3) Add the garlic and cook for 1 minute, then add the chili powder, cumin, oregano, chili flakes and stir to combine.

4) Stir in the bell peppers, beans, corn, diced tomatoes and chicken broth. Place lid over pot and cook chili for 20 minutes over medium heat.

5) Separate 2 cups of chili into a bowl and, using an immersion blender, puree until smooth.

6) Add pureed mixture back into the chili and stir. Cook over medium heat for an additional 15 minutes with the lid on and remove from heat.

7) Serve warm and top with plain Greek yogurt, cheddar cheese, chives and tortilla chips. Enjoy!
