INGREDIENTS

Besan Flour – 1 cup
Turmeric Powder – 1/4 Tsp
Cumin Powder – 1/2 Tsp
Red Chili Powder – 1/2 Tsp
Salt to taste
Water as required
Bread – 5 slices
Oil for deep frying
Garlic – 1/2 Tbsp
Ginger – 1/2 Tbsp
Dry Red Chilies – 3
Cubed Onion – 1/2 Medium
Cubed Capsicum – 1/2 Medium
Red Chili Sauce – 1 Tsp
Tomato Ketchup – 1 Tbsp
Cilantro (Coriander) – 1 Tbsp

PREPARATION

STEP 1

Prepare the batter for the bread coating by adding 1 cup a Besan flour, 1/4 Tsp Turmeric Powder, 1/2 Tsp Cumin Powder, 1/2 Tsp Red chili powder, salt to taste in a Mixing Bowl. Add water as required and mix into Bajji Batter consistency.

STEP 2

Remove the Crust edges on four sides of the bread slices and cut into your 4 Squares or any of your favorite shapes.

STEP 3

Dip theBread pieces in the batter, coat well and deep fry in hot Oil on medium flame for 5 minutes.

STEP 4

Add 1 Tbsp oil to a heated Pan, add 1/2 Tbsp Garlic, add 1/2 Tbsp Ginger, mix it well. Add 3 Red Chilies cook for 1/2 minute. Next add Cubed Onions and Capsicum Sauté Lightly. Add 1 Tsp Red chili Sauce, 1 Tbsp Tomato Ketchup mix it well. Next add the fried Bread Pieces and mix to until they are coated with Sauce. Top with cilantro (coriander) and serve.
