No beans in this recipe! I just used fresh ground pork belly and 80/20 ground beef.
1 lb of fresh ground pork belly
2 lb of 80/20 grass-fed ground beef
2-28 oz cans of organic crushed tomatoes
1-15 oz can of organic tomato sauce
1- 50 oz can of fire roasted petite diced tomatoes with chipotle peppers
One cup whole chopped onion
1 tbsp of roasted garlic
1 tbsp of chili powder
1 tbsp smoked paprika
1 tbsp of smoked salt
I mix all this together in my instant pot and set it on slow cook for 4 hours.
Garnish with freshly shredded smoked cheddar and fresh onions.
if you’re feeling like you need to have a little more fiber in your diet you can add some psyllium husk to this after you have cooked it.
I also sprinkled a little bit of nutritional yeast for some B vitamins.
