Chilli chicken is a very juicy, spicy and delicious restaurant style chicken recipe made using chicken which is fried and then cooked in a special sauce. This can serve as an appetizer to treat your guest.
INGREDIENTS
For marinating:
500g chicken
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp black pepper
1tsp chilli powder (optional)
1tbsp ginger garlic paste
1tbsp soy sauce
3tbsp corn flour
1tbsp all purpose flour
1 egg
For Sauce:
1 green capsicum (cut in cubes)
1 red onion (cut in cubes)
2tbsp spring onion white
3 green chillies (sliced)
4 cloves of garlic (diced)
1tbsp ginger (diced)
3tbsp red chilli sauce
3tbsp tomato sauce
1tbsp soy sauce
1tsp lemon juice ( You can also use vinegar)
1/2tsp salt (Adjust to your taste)
Corn flour slurry (1bsp corn flour + 1/4 cup water)
2tbsp oil
