CORIANDER CHILLI CHICKEN RECIPE

INGREDIENTS

1/2 big bunch coriander leaves
6 green chillies
8 cloves garlic
2 inch piece ginger
1 teaspoon black pepper
½ teaspoon turmeric
1½ teaspoon salt
1 kg chicken with bone, cut into small pieces
4 teaspoon oil
3 onions, chopped
2 teaspoons coriander powder
1 teaspoon garam masala
Few curry leaves (optional)

INSTRUCTIONS

Take a blender and grind coriander leaves, chillies, pepper, garlic, ginger to fine paste. Add salt, turmeric and coriander paste to the chicken pieces and mix well to coat. Set aside for few minutes.

Meanwhile, grind onions. Heat oil in a pan and add in the onion paste. Fry for few minutes till the onions are soft.

Add in the chicken mixture to the pan. Add coriander powder and garam masala and combine well. Cook the mixture on medium flame until water reduces and chicken cooks completely. Add few curry leaves and stir gently. Switch off the flame.

Note : chillies and salt can be adjusted as per your taste.
