HOW TO: chicken chili on a wood stove

I wanted to play around with my new equipment and figured I was going to cook anyhow, so I might as well mix it up and cook on the woodstove down in the basement.

I linked my equipment down below if you are interested in what I used for this.

This is an obviously super easy recipe but one that is as quick as it is easy and perfect for the colder nights.

WHAT YOULL NEED:

Woodstove ( or any cooking surface obviously)
enough wood to run your stove for roughly two hours ( I used about four quartered sections of hickory hardwood)
1LB of chicken ( I precooked mine in a cast-iron skillet on the woodstove)
2 cans of great northern beans
1 medium yellow onion
1 can of fire-roasted corn
24oz of chicken stock
1tbsp of oil
1 tbsp of garlic powder
2tbsp of Cumin
1tbsp of cayenne powder
1 packet of McCormick’s Chili powder
