How to Make Chili Dogs

Ingredients
½ pound bacon, diced into small pieces
2 medium onions, finely chopped
1 ½ pound of ground beef
4 cloves of garlic, finely chopped
2 cups of canned tomato sauce
2 tbsp honey
1 cup beef stock
1 tbsp sweet paprika
1 tbsp cumin powder
1 tbsp chili powder
Salt to taste
15-20 hot dog buns
15 -20 hot dogs
1 cup cheddar, grated (for topping)
1 cup sour cream, (for topping)

Making chili dog
1. Making the chili
Fry bacon in a skillet or large cast-iron frying pan. Once the bacon is crispy and turn slightly translucent, add ground beef and onion. Increase the flame to high and cook for 5 minutes or till the beef browns. Then add in chopped garlic and mix well.
Pour in the tomato sauce, honey and beef stock. Season with salt, chili powder, cumin powder and paprika. Taste the mixture and add more spices or salt if needed.
Let it simmer for around 25 to 30 minutes till the stock water evaporates and the mix becomes thick.
2. Grilling the hot dogs
Grill the hot dogs on a skillet over medium heat till they are nicely browned from all sides. In the same pan, toast the hot dog buns for 30 seconds on each side.
3. Assembling the chili dog
Place the hot dogs in the bun. Add beef and bacon chili mix. Top off with sour cream and cheese, and enjoy!
