Chili Garlic Noodles with lots of garlic and a kick from the chili make the perfect weeknight dinner.These Chili Garlic Noodles are one of my favorite ways to enjoy them. There are a lot of veggies, lots of garlic and lots of flavors, whatāt not to like?
The good thing about these noodles is that they are also easy to put together.
You would need some time to do all the chopping but once thatās done, these come together in like 15 minutes!āare easy to make for a weeknight meal.
ācan be served as such or paired with a stir-fry or manchurian.
āvegan and can be made gluten-free by using gluten-free soy sauce.
āhave a lot of flavor from all the sauces and tons of garlic.
Since the name of these noodles is chili garlic, they obviously have a lot of garlic and also have some heat.The veggies used are onions, carrots, peppers. You can use snap peas or even broccoli would be good here. Addition of some crisp tofu will be good too.
These are just some of the variables that you can try here.I also add some sugar to balance out the flavors but it is optional and you may skip it.
For red chilli paste
Ingredients:
⢠Kashmiri red chillies 8-10 nos.
⢠Hot water for soaking
Methods:
⢠Soak the Kashmiri red chilli in hot water for 101-5 minutes. Allow it cool down.
⢠Once cooled, transfer to a mixer grinder and make a fine paste, add some water to grind it well.
For making noodles
Ingredients:
⢠Oil 2 tbsp
⢠Garlic 3 tbsp (chopped)
⢠Ginger 1 tbsp (chopped)
⢠Red chilli paste 3 tbsp
⢠Green chilli paste 2 tsp
⢠Veggies:
1. Onions 1/3rd cup (sliced)
2. Carrots 1/3rd cup (julienned)
5. Capsicum 1/3rd cup (julienned)
⢠Soy sauce 1 tsp
⢠Salt to taste
⢠Sugar a pinch
⢠Boiled noodles/chowmein
⢠Spring onions greens & bulbs 1/3rd cup
⢠Spring onion greens for garnish
