If you are missing your dose of Indo-Chinese food in this lockdown, here is a simple chilli chicken recipe that you can cook in a jiffy. A must-try!

Ingredients Required to Make Chilli Chicken –

– 2 cups Chicken, diced
– 1 tbsp Ginger Paste
– 1 tbsp Garlic Paste
– 1 Egg
– Salt to taste
– pinch of Black pepper
– 1/2 cup Corn Flour
– Oil for frying
– 1 tbsp Oil
– 1 cup Onion, sliced
– 2 Green Chilli, slit
– 1 cup Capsicum, diced
– 2 tbsp Soy Sauce
– 2 tbsp Vinegar
– Spring Onions for garnish

Method to Make Chilli Chicken –

1) In a bowl, take the chicken and add ginger and garlic paste to it.
2) break an egg in the bowl, and add salt and pepper.
3) Mix everything together. Add cornflour and mix it well.
4) Keep to for 1 1/2 hours of marination in the fridge.
5) After that heat the oil for frying and put the chicken in the oil.
6) Fry till golden brown and take it out on absorbent paper to remove the excess oil.
7) In another pan, take some oil and put onions and cook onion till they are translucent.
8) Add green chillies, capsicum, soy sauce, vinegar and saute them well.
9) Then goes the chicken pieces and toss them well.
10) Let the sauce dry out and garnish it with spring onions.
11) And chilli chicken is ready to be served.
