SUMMER SPECIAL GUAVA ICECREAM RECIPE | Mahabaleshwar special icecream with red chilli powder #shorts

At first, you might be surprised by the idea of adding guavas to your icecream, but once you taste it, I’m sure you’ll like the flavour. This icecream is famous in Mahabaleshwar and is popularly served with a sprinkle of red chilli powder and salt.

Method:
1. Cut the guavas in half and pit them using a spoon.
2. Chop the green part into big chunks and blend smooth.
3. Add some sugar to the centre pulp and cook it for a minute. This will soften the pulp and also help in loosening the seeds.
4. Strain the cooked pulp and collect as much pulp as you can.
5. Add the blended paste and the strained pulp to the icecream base and mix.
6. Rest in the freezer until it sets completely and serve with a sprinkle of red chilli powder and salt.
