How to make Chilli Soya:
Ingredients for Chilli Soya:
– Diced onion – 1
– Diced capsicum – 1
– White Spring onion – 1/2 cup
– Chopped garlic – 10-15 cloves
– Chopped ginger – 20 gms
– Green chilli – 2
– Green spring onion – as req.
– Dry red chilli – 2
– Corn starch – 1 tbsp
– Tomato sauce – 1 tbsp
– Soya sauce – 1 tsp
– Salt to taste
– Oil – as req.
– Soya chunks – 75-100 gms
– Red chilli paste – 2 tbsp
Preparation of chilli paste:
– In a vessel, add water & boil it.
– The, add 10-15 dry red chilli.
– Close with a lid & boil for 10mins in low flame.
– After boiling , cool it and add it to a blender and maka a fine paste of it.
– Red chilli paste is ready.
Method of Preparation:
– In a pan, add water & boil it.
– Add soya chunks and boil for few mins.
– Then add the boiled soya chunks into the cold water and squeeze well.
– Now, cut the soya into small pieces (if needed) and keep it aside.
– For marination of soya, add corn flour, salt to taste, soya sauce, black pepper powder, req. water and mix well and keep it aside.
– In a pan, add oil and wait till it gets heated.
– Then, place the marinated soya chunks and fry well.
– In a pan, add oil and add chopped ginger, chopped garlic and saute until raw smell goes out.
– Then add, white spring onion, green chilli, dry red chilli and saute well.
– Now add red chilli paste, soya sauce, tomato sauce and mix well.
– Add the fried soya chunks to the mixture and mix well.
– Now add salt to taste, add req. water and mix once.
– Add diced onion and capsicum and mix well.
– Then, add corn starch and sprinkle some green spring onion.
– Chilli soya is ready to serve hot….
