Chilli Soybean Masala Gravy –
SERVINGS – 4
INGREDIENTS:-
250 gm soya chunks
3 diced onion
1 diced capsicum
2 tbsp maida
1 + 1 tsp kashmiri lal mirch
Salt to taste
Oil for frying
1 tbsp oil
0.5 tsp amchur
1 tbsp tomato ketchup
1 tbsp chilli sauce
0.5 tsp chaat masala
1 tbsp lemon juice (optional)
Process for making Chilli Soybean Manchuian-
For Boiling Soya Nuggets –
1. In a deep pan, add water and bring it to a boiling stage. Turn the flame off and soak nuggets for 10-15 minutes or Until the water is completely soaked by soya nuggets.
2. Drain and squeese them to remove excess water.
For Frying Soya Nuggets-
1. In a bowl, add all purpose flour/maida, salt and kashmiri lal mirch in soaked soya nuggets and mix it well.
2. Heat oil in a kadai, add soya nuggets and fry until it turns crisp from all the sides.
Remove in an absorbent paper and keep it aside.
For Tempering –
1. In a wok, add oil, add diced onion and saute it. Add salt and saute untill color changes.
2. Add diced capsicum and saute on high flame till it slightly changes color.
3. Add amchur powder, chilli paste, tomato ketchup and chat masala. Add water if required.Mix well and add fried soya chunks.
4. Delicious and tasty soya chunks is ready to be served.
